Genesis

As the Marketing Director at Highered, I oversee marketing, communications, and branding. I began as a sales intern, transitioned to digital marketing and creative work, and was promoted in 2021. During that time, I designed a platform feature for organizing virtual job fairs, which is still used by thousands of business students today. Additionally, I initiated the total rebranding of Highered's visual identity. Simultaneously, my wife and I co-founded The SG Media, helping SMEs with engaging video content. We also offer very unique style wedding films. Over six years, we've served 20+ businesses and 100+ couples. ​Previously, I worked as a video assistant at BI Norwegian Business School and a senior consultant at Generali, an insurance and risk management company, honing my goal-oriented, fast-paced, and time management skills. ​My passion is creating visually appealing content, including video production, graphic design, and photography. Notable work includes 'Highered Masterclasses' and online ultrasound courses for NorVue, launching in Norway, the Netherlands, and Germany. I excel in planning and executing marketing strategies, social media management, web design, and team leadership. ​My multicultural background (Filipino, Italian, Norwegian) helps me lead a diverse team at Highered. I enjoy collaborating on purpose, inspiration, and branding. ​I possess diverse skills in video production, animation, graphic design, web design, UI/UX, branding, and photography. I also have a knack for drumming.

Some of the videos I made

Ultrasound Video Course for NorVue

Series of basic, intermediate and advanced ultrasound courses for by doctors and health professionals in Norway, Denmark and Germany. The videos are filmed in a studio with professional light and camera set up. I have filmed, edited and added animation.

BI Case Competition

Documented and edited videos during the BI Norwegian Business School International Case Competition in 2018 and 2019.

I have produced multiple formats and shorter versions to be used in their social media channels. During the last day dinner, I have also shown an aftermovie edited on the same day of the event.

Highered

Filmed and Edited a short video commercial for Highered explaining what we do and how we do it.

Additionally, I have produced videos with student testimonials and success stories, monthly masterclasses and live streamed online conferences during the pandemic.

Weddings & Events

I film an average of 10 weddings a year offering a unique style and cinematography to our wedding films. The couples who hire us always expressed their "wow" feedback and have always recommended us to their friends. We are very fortunate to have "word of mouth" as the main marketing strategy in the last 4 years.

Alexandra Hoang, a famous influencer in Norway, is one of our very satisfied client.

Branding

I initiated the transformation of Highered from an unknown and white-labeled brand to a brand that can catch the attention of students and be visible to employers a like. 

This includes creation of new logos, simple but clear messaging, proper brand guidelines and better UI/UX, specifically the first entry point of our users and potential clients.

Social Media, Lead Generation

Produced social media visuals and content for organic and paid initiatives and event organized for students.

In addition to this I have also designed and set up automated sales process for lead generation and brand awareness targeting TOF, MOF audiences.

Recently, I have also set up dynamic and trackable printed materials which are placed in some of our school partner's campus.

Web Design

Improved design and performance of the marketing websites and pages focusing on two things: discoverability and understanding.

From unclear messaging to narrowing down our targets to help potential and new users understand what Highered is about.

UI/UX

Following a new talent-first strategy and approached , I helped the development team redesign and improve the user experience in our talent platform. This meant cleaning out the top menu, simplifying the texts and messaging in several sections, creating a new and more attractive user profile and overall consistency in design.
